No, the PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is not expensive at all. I have provided the fees structure for the courses offered by Institute to clarify your doubt.The total tution fees for pursuing Bachelor of Technology B.Tech which is a 4year course is approximately 2 LPA. Whereas the total tution fees for B.Arch which is a 5year course is 2.5 Lacs per annum. Overall, the PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is a good place and affordable at the same time to pursue the courses.

For admission in B.Arch, PSG Institute of Technology and applied research accept score ofTNEA (Tamil Nadu engineering admissions) andNATA (National aptitude test in architecture) So you need to appear for any one of the above mentioned entrance exam, in order to get admission. NATA is the most suitable entrance exam for this course and most of the students appear for this exam only. Registration for both these exams are expected to be held in March month of 2025.

The following is the admission process for B.Tech at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied research:-As TNEA is the main eligibility criteria, you need to first fill out TNEA form from Anna University's official website. When you apperar for the entrance exam, merit will be prepared after that. If you qualify in that, you need to submit all documents at PSG Institute while applying offline or online. After all the final admission processes like counselling, documents verification etc. You'll be provided the final admission.

As per the NIRF Rankings of 2024 session the PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research has been ranked #140th out of 150 in the Engineering Category. While in the 2022 session the college has been ranked #101 out of 150 in the Engineering Category.Also the PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research has been ranked # 15th best college in Tamil Nadu in 2024.

To gain admission to PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research for B.Tech you need to be eligible for admission that is 12th pass with a minimum aggregate of 45% with PCM.Since direct admission is not available candidates have to take entrance exam like JEE MAINS and Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Exam and score qualified marks. Then you have to fill out the admission form and pay admission fees. Remember to carry important documents like the Adhaar card, and the 10th and 12th marksheet.

According to the reviews and placement records the PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research for pursuing B.Arch is an Average college. There are some points to support the conclusion: The college is well known for its excellence in teaching and research but the college is mainly known for its B.Tech courses. Also, college has not been ranked by NIRF in Archeology Category.The placements reports show that around 90% of students got placed during placements and the median salary package offered was INR 5 LPA which is decent in this category.

PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is a well-known Institute which is mainly known for its B.Tech courses because - PSG Institute has been ranked # 101th out of 150 in the Engineering Category by NIRF in 2024.The college has a 100% placement rate. The highest package offered to B.Tech students was INR 30 LPA and the average package was INR 7 LPA.The faculty for B.Tech is highly qualified and very supportive and helpful towards students.
