Above 80% marks is required to get admission or if you are lucky than you can also get the admission in70% but that cutoff will only for minorities or the cutoff will be 5 th or 6th number.

Candidate must have completed BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for Tamilnadu BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, ST category). Both are good. But according to branch, you can opt your choice. If u want to take CSE or IT or ICT then I can say SASTRA is best, because of the high placement opportunity. Nearly 80 companies will come every year. You will have a very good opportunity of getting a job with a high package. Companies like Microsoft, Paypal, TCS and many more will be available every year.
