No, it is not mandatory to appear for both PSTET (Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test) Paper 1 and 2. Candidates can choose to appear for either Paper 1 or Paper 2, depending on their desired teaching level. The PSTET exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes VI to VIII.
