Hello, You can work as a researcher or become an assistant professor after earning a master's degree in psychology. You need to participate in UGC NET for this (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test). The National Testing Agency hosts the exam twice a year. In December 2018, the examination will be held. Get the curriculum and get to work on your preparations. I wish you luck.

Hello, Psychologists and psychiatrists are two distinct professions that address issues on various levels. After MBBS the former is a PG in medicine. Later, one might pursue a B.A. Or M.A. With psychology as a major. To become a psychiatrist, you must first pass the NEET entrance exam, receive admission, graduate from the MBBS programme as a doctor, and then pass the NEET PG entrance exam to enrol in this specialty programme. However, you can enrol in a B.A. Programme with psychology as your major subject if you want to become a psychologist. I wish you well.
