The basic eligibility for the B.Sc psychology (Hons.) programme is a pass with minimum 55% at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India. Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 may apply with their class X and XI marks. The selection process consists of the following as under:-
1. Christ(Deemed to be University) entrance test
2. Skill Assessment (SA):- The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.

The minimum eligibility for this course is a Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate score. However, there are some institutes that may require the candidates to have an Honors undergraduate degree in Psychology or Psychology as a subject in Graduation for becoming eligible for this course.

Th candidate should have scored at least 40% marks in Part II with Psychology as an optional at B.A./BMR, M.Ed./ M.A.(Education)/ M.Sc.(Home Science)/ Diploma in Child Psychology or Industrial Psychology.

The eligibility criteria is as below.
Eligibility for entrance mode admission
Candidate must have done BA (Hons.) or BA in Psychology from any recognized university with 55% in Psychology and 55% minimum aggregate or must be a graduate/post graduate from a recognized Indian university with a minimum aggregate of 60% .
Eligibility for Merit mode admission:
Candidate must have done BA (Hons.) in Psychology and Applied Psychology from University of Delhi with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
