I think LSR may not take a non psychology student to a PG programme. Better look out for distance mode programme from good universities like LPU.

You have not written about the College/ University name from where you want to pursue the Psychology course. However, the eligibility criteria of M.A. Psychology of LPU Jalandhar is given below for reference only. Eligibility criteria: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. So from above, you are eligible for the M.A. Psychology course.

Students who have completed 10+2 in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for the respective UG courses. (10+2 min 50% for BSc clinical psychology and 10+2 for BSc applied psychology). SOP (Statement of Purpose: a short 1 min video expressing the reason for showing interest in the program) will have to submit on the microsite portal during the time of the admissions.

I am not sure about Punjab Universities criteria but I can let you know about the requirement of Lovely Professional University. Based on that you can look forward for your programme. The eligibility of M.A. Psychology is pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. Yes you are eligible. the eligibility criteria of Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling is Graduates in any discipline can apply. Psychology background is not mandatory.
