As such, there is no percentage cut-off is mentioned by the college authorities. So, you need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized university.

The criteria is you need to have passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% marks. Do check the eligibility of the respective college in which you wish to apply.

NTA has conducted the UGC NET exam in 82 subjects this year. As per the exam guidelines, you can appear for the UGC NET exam in the subject in which you have done the post-graduation or related to that. As you said you have completed Masters' in Child Psychology, so you can apply for the exam with Psychology subject. Before appearing for the UGC NET exam must check out that you eligible or not for the exam.
