There are many factors which can influence your decision like your academic grades, your budget, language barrier, etc. If you are academically strong you can check top universities in US and UK, they have the best universities. Canada is also a very good option.

The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.Sc Psychology is having a graduation degree in any stream. However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Psychology or Psychology as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university. Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination. Other Options that can help you in knowing- how to become psychologist in India:
-You can enroll into one year Diploma course in psychology under guidance and counseling. -

A UGC recognized degree will be accepted, but universities will evaluate your degree first, assess them as per their education framework. You have to check this directly with universities you wish to apply to. Email them, they will respond. Marks criteria are usually the same but evaluation will be definitely stricter. You must also take IELTS.
