Yes, in the PU LLB 2024 exam, there is a negative marking system. For every correct answer, you will be awarded +1 mark, and for each incorrect answer, -0.25 marks will be deducted. It's important to attempt only those questions you are sure of to avoid losing marks due to incorrect answers.

The PU LLB will be conducted in at least five rounds of seat allotment. Before each round, the University will share the seat allotment list for the remaining seats. In case there are still seats vacant after the fifth round, the counselling mop-up round will be held at institute level. In PU LLB Entrance Exam 2024 as well, there were total of five PU LLB seat allotment rounds until all seats at the University were secured by candidates.

For its three-year LLB degree, which is offered by the university and its law centres, the university offers about 480 seats.Through, PU LLB entrance exam counselling, admissions will be offered to the Department of Laws,  Panjab University, Chandigarh, Panjab University Regional Centre, Muktsar, UIL, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, University Institute of Legal Studies, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU and, Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur.

Candidates need to carry the following documents in original as well as, photocopies: PU LLB Application Form 2025 PU LLB Admit Card 2025PU LLB Scorecard 2025Class 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificates.Graduation marksheet and provisional. Character certificate and transfer certificate from the institute last attended.Reserved category certificate if claiming admission under SC/ ST/ BC category.Medical and PWD certificate for disabled category candidates.Sports achievement and certificates if claiming admission under sports category.

The PU LLB Entrance Exam was held in 18 test centres across Chandigarh and Punjab. As many as 5,500 candidates appeard in the exam. The Selection Process is done through both Merit and Entrance Examination basis. A minimum of 50% marks is required in PU UGLAW Entrance examination to get admission here. The exam was taken for 100 questions which was taken in 2 hours and a total of 400 marks. Must mention their language choice in the OMR sheet. A merit list based on entrance exam results is utilised for counselling, which is done offline. The PU LLB scorecard, birth certificate, academic transcripts, character reference, caste/community certificate (if applicable), and, for students who are physically challenged, a medical certificate are among the documents that must be verified.

The Panjab University will share the schedule for PU LLB 2025 counselling process. The PU LLB 2025 counselling process will be conducted in online, as well as, offline mode. The admission schedule for PU LLB 2025 will carry important details like merit list release date, selection list and reporting details. As part of PU LLB counselling process, candidates who have been shortlisted in the merit list will be called for registration, document verification, and seat allotment process.

Yes, you will still be able to download the result of PU LLB Entrance Exam by logging in to the official exam website. The scorecard will consist of information such as subject-wise and overall scores, percentiles and All India Rank, along with the qualifying cutoff or marks. In case a candidate does not qualify for PU LLB Entrance Exam then he/she will not be able to participate in the counselling process. However, they may take admission to other courses conducting admission through PU LLB Entrance Exam scores, for which counselling process is not conducted.
