The PU MET application fee is different for different categories. The application fee for the General category students is INR 2175 and the application fee for SC/ST/OBC categories is INR 1087. Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI or offline through e-challan from the SBI bank branch.

PU-MET exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 2 hours or 120 minutes. The exam has six sections and 200 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. There is no negative markings. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 200.

The PU MET exam will be conducted in the paper-based test mode and the candidates will be required to mark the correct option on the OMR sheet. No, candidates cannot appear more than once for the PU MET. The PU MET is held only once a year. Candidates have to wait for the next session if they miss this year's exam. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission to various institutes which accept PU MET scores.
