Preparation tips for the PUBDET: Get the syllabus. Usually, the seniors are very helpful in this regard. Collect the last 5 years' question papers. Study the theory portion from Resnick-Halliday-Walker/ Sears-Zemansky, if you have used them for your IIT preparation. Otherwise, any standard textbook for Plus Two would suffice. However, familiarity with the two classics I just mentioned would help you once your course commences.For problems, H. C. Verma is MORE THAN SUFFICIENT. You don't need Irodov. Again.
