You should analyse the theme of your topic. Compress it into one topic sentence. On the basis of that sentence, elaborate your ideas. You should explain all the points. Don't leave anything vague. Your audience should also understand what you have in mind. Give examples and illustrations. But, don't take up too many ideas.

These days, the advice is for a good accent. Even if you aren't grammatical, it's not a big problem. But, your English should sound English. I feel that you have to train yourself for about 2,3 months. Practice Phonetic Symbols first and then Stress, for all important words. Practice speaking slowly and fluently. Give right pauses. Be clear about Aspiration. Listen to good English broadcast regularly.
