WBJEEB prepares merit ranks based on the candidates’ score in the entrance test. Individual candidates will be able to view and download his/her Rank Card, which will contain score and rank. Candidates can check the PUMDET scoring methodology here.All questions will have four answer options.Only one option is correct.Correct response will yield 2 (two) marks.Incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.For any combination of response with more than one option, even if it contains the correct option, the answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.Zero mark will be awarded for not attempting any question.

In every paper of PUMDET exam, all questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions. There will 50 (fifty) questions in each paper with full marks 100 and time allotted will be 90 minutes. Candidates need to follow the following tips to know about PUMDET exam preparation. Understand the PUMDET Pattern and Marking Scheme, Get the prescribed PUMDET syllabus for the applied course, Get all the study material you can to prepare better for PUMDET,  Create a day to day and weekly time table on how much material you can study on a daily basis, Revise as much as you can, Get the proper rest.

Preparing for a Science course is never easy and the only way to ensure that you have studied well is by testing yourself over and over again. Through prep books, one gets a better idea of the subject and the various pointers that can help you score better. You can identify where you fall behind and which are your strong points. It is advised that you purchase at least two to three prep books to help better understand the test.

A postgraduate course level is higher than what one would have studied at graduation and the preparation has to be much more. If you have done your BA in Political Science and want to do your MA in Political Science, the student will have to cover all the major topics and subjects learnt in the three-year undergrad course and learn the subjects taught in postgraduate as well.
