PVPIT Pune admission to BCA is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are required to qualify for a state-level MAH MCA CET, which is conducted by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Further, candidates who passed Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board are eligible to sit for the exam and apply for the course. At last, the final seat allotment to selected students is done through CAP counselling process over 120 seats.

Students must meet the eligibility criteria to join PUMBA University. The admissions are based on qualifying national entrance exams such as CMAT, CAT, MAH-CET.
