I K Gujral Punjab Technical University, Hoshiarpur has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.E. / B.TechThose candidates who have passed minimum 3 years Diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme)
OR
The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.

I.K. Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology, Mohali has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityM.Sc.Candidate must have passed graduation B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E or BCA/B.Com/BA/BCA with any one of the following subjects (Economics/Statistics/Management/Marketing/Mathematics /Textiles/ Fashion/ Accounts/ Computers /Home Science/any other related Diploma) from a recognised university.B.Sc.A candidate who has passed any Public/ School/ University Examination in India Recognized by the Association of Indian Universities
or
A Pass grade in Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Open School with minimum of 5 subjects
