 The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Ropar charges a total tuition fee of INR 5 Lacs for its BTech program. However, students who have financial difficulties can avail of scholarships to reduce their educational expenses. There are several scholarships offered by the government, private organizations, and institutes that students can apply for. Every year, the cut off marks for the CLAT exam are affected due to the following factors:The difficulty level of the exam. In case the question paper is easy then the CLAT cut offs are expected to go high and vice-versa.Total number of applications received. If the total applications received are less then the cut off is expected to be relaxed. Total candidates qualifying CLAT exam. If the total number of qualifying candidates is less than the total seats then cut off goes lowTotal number of seats. If the total number of seats is revised and increased then cut off is expected to remain lowPrevious year cut offs. For the top NLUs, the cut-off marks in previous years were high, therefore, only topper candidates could make it for final admissions.
