In TIET, every year more than 90% of students get placed from my branch. This year 5 students got placed in Microsoft with CTC INR. 40 LPA. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology takes students on the basis of marks secured in JEE. Placement varies from branch to branch like computer Science has 100 percent.

Hello!
NIT Jalandhar isn't really a great option since it is not that reputed as compared to the top 30-40 colleges in India. Avoid it and aim for the much better ones.

You can seek admission through any mode on the basis of a single application form, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria. Mode 1 70% seats on the basis of JEE (Main)-2019/NEET-2019 rankings
Mode 2 30% seats on the basis of 10+2 PCM/PCB scores
