Purdue University accepts a variety of English proficiency exams like IELTS, TOEFL and Purdue oral english proficiency test. The minimum qualifying score for undergraduate in TOEFL is 71 and IELTS is 6.0, DET is 105.

Hi Preeti, I hope you are doing fine  As an Indian students, you need to apply for F1 or M1 visa depending on your type of study you plan or pursue. If you are going to pursue a high school or private elementary school,seminar seminary, conservatory or another academic institution including a language training program you need to apply for the F1 visa. And if you are planning for vocational or other recognise known academic institution other than a language training program you need to apply for F1 visa. As per the official enrolment statistics,  Purdue acceptance rate is 53%,  which means out of every 100 applications only 50 are selected by the university. This means that the university is 'more selective' when it comes to admissions. In short,  Purdue admissions are competitive and gives preference to students having exceptional academic background.
