Though PW Institute of Innovation is a burgeoning organisation in Bangalore it cannot be regarded the best in relation to others. However, it is known to have locale specialised programs and the spirit for innovation; it still is far from being recognised as well as some of the older institutes such as RV College of Engineering or even BMS College of Engineering, which have significantly bigger connections to industries, higher placements and a much larger pool of alumni as well. The average placement at PW Institute is roughly between Rs 4-6 LPA .

The reputation in the field of Artificial intelligence and machine learning of this institution is not yet much recognisable as it is a newly established institute, but it is considered a rising contender in the field due to its industry-oriented curriculum and focus on job being ready skills.
