Hello Mohit, yes it is definitely a good idea to go in for courses in quality control or quality assurance after completion of your graduation in mechanical engineering. There may not be any graduation or post graduation courses but different organisations offer courses running for 2 weeks to 2 months for working professionals so that they become quality control and quality assurance professionals. However you need to find out about the employability after this courses since there are plenty of institutes offering this courses and foul play cannot be ruled out. Best wishes to you.

Now, you are in NDT technician, it is actually a place where all the productions assembly stage. Like all castes forged formed rolled, bend, and fabricated products from different mills join here. Each mill has its own QA/QC engineers. In construction many material reception, on going work inspection like visual check of welding and installation of equipment, motors, piping supports fittings, hydro test pneumatic test till commission, also documentation is considered in Quality Control. Hi,
In order to improve your position in the field of quality analysis, firstly shortlist what is it that you are looking for doing more than what is offered right now. Do ask the present organisation if you could take up senior posts or more responsibility, if any. Take up a couple of online courses. Many could be free too. Looking at industry standards and expectations for further roles up the ladder in quality analysis. Even by studying intently the job descriptions on job sites, educate yourself what to look forward to. Then take up coaching - self or otherwise.
