With distance degree in graduation, you will not be able to get admission. As far as I know you will not be able to get admission in nay regular college. You can try for distance or online MBA.

As per the reference from the experienced professor, I would recommend Ambedkar College which even says that it has a really good placement opportunity.
Difference between VTU and Autonomous is:
College's coming under VTU have to follow the syllabus structure and fee structure, examinations given by the VTU's.
But in autonomous colleges, they will have their own way of syllabus division, fee, examination. At the end, you will be having a degree given by VTU.
