The selection criteria at R.R. Institute of Advanced Studies other than MBA/PGDM is based upon a combination of factors. The shortlisted candidates had given national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, with the minimum cut-off being 40 percentile. The candidate needs to have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in their graduation. The institute also considers work experience of the candidate, which forms 10% of the weightage. The final selection shall be based on an interview, which has a weightage of 30%. The remaining 60% weightage is given to the candidate's academic performance and entrance examination scores. Each year, around 120 candidates get selected for the MBA/PGDM course.
