The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at Reva University and R.V. College of Engineering are 2100 and 1300, respectively. While Reva University offers this course in 27 specialisations, R.V. College of Engineering offers the same in 17 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at Reva University due to higher seats.

To gain admission to RVCE Bangalore BTech courses, candidates must have achieved a minimum of 60% aggregate in their Class 12 exams or the last qualifying exam. For M.Tech courses, applicants must have graduated with at least 50% marks.  The required aggregate depends upon the course. The total tuition fee for the BTech programme at RV College of Engineering ranges between INR 3.34 Lacs - INR 44 lakh. The median package secured in 2022 was INR 10 LPA whereas the highest package secured after the completion of the BTech programme in 2023 was INR 62 LPA. Considering the total cost of tuition and the package secured this seems to be a great return on the investemnt. This total fee mentioned here is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative.
