Even though your rank appears to be a bit low, I feel you should get the branch you desire. This is so since COMEDK is on all India basis and many students do not join. However, to help you I am attaching a link that will predict college for you.

For chemical engineering branch, you need at least 2000 rank till first round of counselling.
RVCE focuses on each and every student of every branch and that's the reason they have limited number of seats in each branch. Yes, RV college has a good name. It appears that they have a good placement cell also. If you are not able to get admission in IIT or NIT then grab the opportunity to get admission here. RVCE focuses on each and every student of every branch and that's the reason they have limited number of seats in each branch.
