The students are admitted on merit basis except for the MBA programme where the entrance test exam is considered. The eligibility criteria for the aided and self finance courses are the same. But certain reservations are made. The MBA programme is offered for a period of 2 years. The course offers specializations in Financial Management, marketing Management, Human resources management, and the Agri-Business Management. These courses are also available in the aided mode. The admission process for MBA courses at Raiganj University for all courses is through the online mode only. Candidates who are interested, must visit the admission portal and candidates are strictly prohibited from visiting the college for the admission process during the online application process. Once we visit the official website of the University, we have to click on the UG\PG Admissions. Here we must register and login with the credentials, fill the online applications form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the application fee. The candidates belonging to EWS categories have to apply separately to the register for considering their claim. In case of any issues with the payment and software failure, the candidates must reach out to the technical assistance helpline. The verification of documents are done at the time of reporting to classes. The selection of candidates depends on the merit basis from the qualification exams, except for the MBA programme. The Placements at the Raiganj University have seen a significant decrease in the placement rates. The median salary package offered to students in 2022 has decreased by over 26% as compared to 2021. The median package offered to PG students has declined compared to the past three years. In 2020, out of 605 students who participated in the placement program, only 6 were placed. In 2021, out of 625 students only 2 were placed. The next year wasn't any better.
