Salaries at RRB NTPC vary depending on the role. Undergraduate positions have an initial base pay that varies from INR 19,900 to INR 21,700. For graduate positions, the RRB NTPC pays between INR 25,500 and INR 35,400. A commercial ticket clerk at RRB NTPC makes INR 21,700 per month. The monthly wage range for RRB NTPC posts for undergraduate candidates is between Rs. 19,900 and Rs. 21,700. However, the monthly compensation range for those who have completed their studies is between Rs. 25,500 and Rs. 35,400. Junior Clerk/typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, and Accounts Clerk/typist are the undergraduate positions. Pay Level 4 is a wage scale structure that commences at Rs 25,500 and concludes at Rs 81,100.

The syllabus for RRB Group D covers four main sections: Mathematics: number systems, simplification, ratios, percentages, averages, and mensuration (areas and volumes).General Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology fundamentals at the 10th grade level. This includes topics like force, energy, elements, chemical reactions, and human body systems.General Intelligence & Reasoning: Tests your analytical abilities through puzzles, analogies, series completion, and questions assessing your common sense and reasoning.General Awareness and Current Affairs: Covers knowledge of Indian history, geography, polity, economics, sports, and current events. Staying updated on recent news is helpful. 

Both verbal and non-verbal reasoning problems are covered in the RRB NTPC reasoning syllabus. In order to assess applicants' analytical, critical, and logical thinking abilities for a variety of non-technical positions, the board sets the RRB NTPC syllabus. It also aids in assessing candidates' capacity for problem-solving and decision-making. Applicants who are proficient in reasoning will do well in this portion. Candidates should practise Coding and Decoding, Analytical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, Decision Making, Puzzles, etc. for the RRB NTPC General Intelligence and Reasoning portion. There are 30 CBT 1 questions and 35 CBT 2 questions in this section. To ace this section, candidates should work through past years' question papers and mock exams.
