The process to apply for the railway exam varies depending on the specific exam you are interested in. However, in general, you can follow these steps to apply for railway exams:
Visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board RRB or Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) that is conducting the exam. Click on the link for the specific exam you are interested in. Read the instructions, eligibility criteria, and other details carefully. Click on the "Apply Online" or "New Registration" link. Fill in the registration form with your personal and academic details. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents. Pay the application fee through the available online modes of payment. Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference. It is important to keep checking the official website for updates and notifications related to the exam.

In the self-declaration part of RRB NTPC admit card, candidates are required to write a paragraph saying that the details they have entered in the application form are correct and complete. They should not write the self-declaration in capital letters. Likewise, blank spaces are also provided for signature and left thumb impression. The official notification reads, "Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded e-Call letter for writing self-declaration paragraph (as the paragraph will be displayed on the screen during CBT), signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) unfilled while coming for the exam." Candidates are required to write the paragraph of self-declaration, sign and affix the left thumb impression at the exam venue in the presence of the invigilator at the exam hall only. After this, they have to hand over the admit card to the invigilator.
