There is no point in pursuing a course that you don't like. Between photography and social work also, you need to figure out which one you want to take up as your career. For a technical job in railways, you have two options as per your qualification as an engineer.
1) Become a Group A officer through ESE, conducted by UPSC.
2) Be a Senior Section Engineer, Group C employee, exam conducted through RRB.
For your qualification as a graduate:
1) Take UPSC CSAT and opt for Railways as Allied services. Group A services.
2) Appear for RRB exams for various non-technical posts. Group C.
For notifications, please be updated through National Newspapers, Employment news, RRB websites and UPSC websites.

It all depends upon you for which post you want to apply. There are some posts which accept engineering degree as educational eligibility, some accept diploma courses and some posts for which educational criteria is 12th standard.
