All jobs in govt. sector are advertised in newspapers and one has to apply for them and also clear a written test followed by a personal interview. You need to keep a track of such advertisements and apply for relevant jobs keeping in mind the criteria as mentioned in the advertisements.

There is no special courses for railway driver, but you have to complete ITI to become a railway driver.
ABOUT ITI
its a 2 year course,which trains the candidate to work in automobile sectors
ELIGIBILTY ~
10th pass with math and science.
ELIGIBILITY TO BECOME A LOCO PILOT
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
atleast matriculation with ITI course in specified trades.
AGE
18 - 30 year. for the general candidates.
age relaxation are being given to the reserved categories.

Yes, you can. To crack the railway exams, you need better coaching and analytical skills. Be prepared for that before the exams. With B.Tech, you can look for Bank exams as well. The syllabus for Bank and Railway exams are somewhat similar. Best of luck.
