Yes, there are many scholarship programmes provided by RIJ.The students who scored a cutoff of 190 and less are provided with full scholarship including the exam fees , accomodation and food.While the students who scored cutoff of 185+ are provided with the half payment in both tution fee and hostel fee.

RIT Chennai offers direct admission to the second year of BTech/ B.E. programmes through Lateral Entry. In this course, students can skip the first year and take admission directly in the second year of the programme. For admission to Lateral Entry programmes,  candidates either passed graduated or must have a valid Diploma in the relevant stream.
