RTU is definitely a good university. LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond comprehension, extremely qualified and talented! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post-doctorates and 700 PHDs, LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with every machinery, equipment, and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just, for example, more than 10 companies have established centers for excellence within the campus with their investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent!

Hello Yogesh, spot round or mop-up round is kept to fill up vacant seats in mostly first come first serve" basis. Hence which seats are available becomes clear only after all normal rounds are exhausted and students' wishes fulfilled as per the order of merit. But even at this stage, it was observed that seats in some branches were lying vacant. To fill these and also to give the last opportunity to students, this round was devised. Hence information about vacant seats is displayed only after the last round but many a time it springs surprises too. Best wishes to you.
