Rajasthan University of Health Sciences offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The programmes are offered in multiple streams such as Medicine, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, etc. at campus and via affiliated colleges. MBBS, BPharm and BSc are the popular courses of RUHS. Admission to most of the programmes is based on university or national-level entrance exams.

There are a total of 9280 seats in BSc Nursing course at RUHS and its affiliated colleges. Out of the total intake, 85% of the total seats are filled up by the Bonafide candidates of Rajasthan, and 15% of the total seats are filled up by the candidates on all India basis inclusive of Rajasthan as per State Government guidelines. The percentage of female candidates shall not fall below 50% of the total seats in all categories.

There are a total of 4,130 seats in MBBS course of RUHS. The seats are distributed among the 27 affiliated/ constitutent colleges. Candidates are offered seat in MBBS programme based on NEET-UG score. Selected aspirants have to participate in Rajasthan NEET Counselling for seat allotment.

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences does not offer direct admission. Candidates have to participate in selection rounds to get a seat in the university. RUHS conducts an admission test of 120 minutes for admission to various UG and PG courses such as BPT, BPharm, MSc, BSc, etc. The selection for courses such as BDS, MDS, MPharm, MBBS, etc. is based on national-level entrance-exam scores. The university accepts NEET-UG, NEET-PG, NEET MDS, GPAT and NEET SS for admission to specific programmes.
