Admission to BTech at RGPV is completely entrance-based. Direct admission is not possible for BTech course at the university. Candidates seeking for admission to this course must pass Class 12 to appy for the course. Aspirants must qualify for JEE Main entrance exam in order to get admission. The JEE Main qualifiers are required to apply for DTE MP counselling, where the seats will be allotted to the selected candidates.

RGPV Bhopal offers four-year BE and BTech programmes under several specialisations. RGPV BE and BTech admissions are based on a candidate’s score in JEE Main, followed by DTE MP Counselling. To apply for the BTech programme, a candidate must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. The criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 with Maths and Physics with an aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).
