Hi,
Currently there are two good institutions in India for CPL training. One of them being the government owned Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) and the other CAE Gondia (NFTI).
IGRUA- located in Raebareli it is the one of the best flight school in India for ab initio CPL. IGRUA has a fleet of modern aircrafts including Diamond DA40, Zlin 24L, TB20 and the multi- engine DA 42. It also has its own airport to provide uninterrupted training. Though there is no guarantee of placement in the last few years some students have been placed in Air India. The cost for CPL at IGRUA is approximately INR 38 lakhs.

Starting salary for an AME license holder can be Rs 15,000 per month and it can go up to INR 1 lakh to INR 1.5 lakhs also.

I think you can get a good private college but the fee of the colleges is approx. 60-70k INR per annum.

As per the eligibility criteria of Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy, The candidate shall have passed minimum 10+2 class with aggregate of 50% marks in physics and mathematics, or a three years Diploma in engineering; or a higher qualification in science with physics and mathematics. The trainees shall be subjected to a medical examination before they are admitted to the training institute by a doctor having at least an MBBS degree.
