You can get admission in RGIT might be branch is not your choice. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai is a decent college providing 100% placement for computer science and information technology branches but it is not so for mechanical branch.
This is because less than 2 or sometimes no core companies visit the campus during placement season because of which the students have to suffer by taking up IT, banking, marketing jobs which renders the mechanical degree to be a waste.
If you just want to get in the branch because of placements and you have no other option but this college then you can consider getting admission here beca

To take admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, there are two ways to it.
1st Way:
One is the Cap Round, which will be on the basis of your marks scored in the MHCET or JEE Exams.
This is a purely online process, and will give you seats on the basis of your merits.
2nd Way:

The 2019 cutoff depends on the score percentage, like if all are getting high scores than the cutoff could be high. You can search online and get last year's cutoff and assume.

In Pune, only 3-4 colleges are good and DY Patil is not among them. I'd suggest you not to go for Pune colleges if you're going for CS. There are better colleges in Mumbai than Pune and placement rates are also great. If you want to go for CS prefer VIT then RGIT and then RAIT.
