A pass in class x with at least 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria. Admission is offered on the basis of marks in class X.Admission to Diploma is course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who have passed SSLC or equivalent examination with at least 35% aggregate are eligible to apply for Diploma after Class 10 courses.

A minimum of 55% of total points in the relevant discipline for a BE or B.Tech degree is required for admission. A valid GATE score is required for admission, which is followed by counseling.
