The total tuition fee for the BTech at MSRIT is INR 2.6 Lacs - INR 10.5 lakh. This fee is exclusive of various charges such as admission charges, transportation charges, and others. This fee can change over the years. The students who find the fee expensive can apply for the scholarships provided by the college.

At the undergraduate level, MSRIT offers four-year BTech and five-year  MTech, to students. BTech is provided in 12 pecialisations such as Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and others. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MBA, MCA,  MTech, and other courses to students. The accepted entrance exams are COMEDK UGET, KCET, and others. Students must clear the entrance exams for successful admissions.
