Hi Rahul, thank you for posting your query on Shiksha. Right now only the first cut-off list has been released in DU. In case of Ramjas, the cut-off for B.Sc physical science in Chemistry is 91% and in case of B.Sc Physical Science in electronics is 93%. Both the percentages are for the general category. Also the cut-off for other courses in Physical Science isn't out yet.

Dear Vansham,
In case, you can get a chance in Hansraj College, go ahead without thinking much. Kolkata has poor student crowd. Moreover, the faculty of SXC has degraded. I don't know much about Delhi University when it comes to faculty, but given that most of the books authored by the professors of DU, sell like hot cakes all over in India, for all professional exams, I can easily assume, that the professors must also be pretty good there. In order to calculate your best of four, you need to choose your subjects that have been listed in two lists. The subjects like physics, maths, history, geography, political Science and many others have been listed in the first list. Including these subjects won't cause a deduction, however that also depends upon your course and your stream. Further there are subjects like physical education, fine arts which may cause a deduction. You can use the following link for help-

Hi, since you are from a different university you are not eligible for admission through merit basis and you'd only get admission through an entrance exam. The forms for registering for DU is available in it's official website, do check them soon.

Hi,
You have to calculate the percentage out of the best four subjects, which although, should include a language. So English is a compulsory subject which you're supposed to include in your best of four. So the subjects being, English, Maths, Computer, Accounts/Commerce. The calculation is 93+99+99+95/400 X 100= 96.5%. I have attached a link which would open up to the list of DU cut offs for the past few years, your doubts will be cleared: https://www.shiksha.com/humanities-social-sciences/articles/du-cut-off-trends-for-past-years-blogId-12697
