Birsa Agricultural University admit students to its BSc (Hons) programmes on entrance score basis. The students are shortlisted based on ICAR AIEEA/Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board exam scores. Birsa Agricultural University reserve seats as per the reservation rules of the Jharkhand state. The university may have certain seats reserved for students belonging to the home state. BAU Ranchi BSc (Hons) seat intake is 50. This seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative. The university fill 85% of the seats based on Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board. Additionally, the rest 15% are filled by a Combined Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR VCI.

The BAU application window for admission to BSc (Hons) courses is expected to open soon. ICAR AIEEA UG application process is carried out from Apr to May. Aspirants can check out the official website of the exam conducting body to stay updated. The entrance exam takes place in Jun. 

B.Tech admission at NIAMT formerly NIFFT will be based on the JEE Main ranks. The counselling for admission willl be done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA). So appear in JEE Main exam and participate in JOSAA counselling.

The MBA course's BIT Mesra cutoff is determined by CMAT results. In order to be considered for further admissions rounds, students must achieve the minimum CMAT cutoff. Candidates with an overall score of 75 percentile for the General category All India candidates are summoned for the further admission process, per the previous year's BIT Mesra cutoff 2023.
