The RBI Assistant selection process consists of three phases: Prelims, Mains, and Language Proficiency Test. The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and the shortlisted candidates will be called for the Mains exam. The RBI Assistant result will be released based on the scores of the Mains exam and Language proficiency test. The final merit list will be published on the official website. The selection process includes preliminary and Mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The total duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes. The Mains exam carries questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge.
