Candidates belonging to the unreserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit. The category-wise age relaxation given to candidates are given below:
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST)-By 5 years, I. e. up to 33 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC)-By 3 years, I. e. up to 31 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD)-By 10 years (GEN/ EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)
Ex-Servicemen-To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed
Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to
maximum of 50 years
Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married-By 10 years

The overall difficulty level of the exam is easy to moderate. Questions were asked from general topics like Data Interpretation, Blood Relation, Syllogism, etc. The difficulty level of Mathematics was moderate. However English and Reasoning was easy. The section-wise difficulty level is given below:

RBI offers a lucrative salary to its employees. As a result of which, a large number of aspirants apply for the exam. The basic salary of RBI Assistant is INR 20,700 per month. The pay scale is INR 20700-1200 (3)-24300- 1440 (4) -30060-1920 (6)-41580-2080 (2)-45740-2370 (3)-52850- 2850-55700 (20 years). Candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, the initial monthly gross emolument for Assistants is approximately INR 45,050. The house allowance of 15 percent of pay is paid to employees.

The prelims syllabus of RBI Assistant and IBPS Clerk is almost similar. The level of RBI Assistant is tough due to less number of vacancies. The level of the prelims exam for both the exams is easy. In Mains exam, IBPS Clerk have both Reasoning and Computers as a single section but in RBI Assistant exam these are separate sections. This means, candidates need to separately clear both of them. RBI Assistant admit card is released online separately for different phases of exams such as prelims and Mains. The admit card is released one week before the exam To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The guidelines to upload signature in RBI Assistant application form:
The applicant has to sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen.
The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
The signature will be used put on the Hall Ticket and wherever necessary.The Applicants signature obtained on the call letter and attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.Dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)The size of file should be between 10 KB and 20 KBEnsure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.

The guidelines to upload photograph are given below:
Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
The picture should be in colour, against a light-colored, preferably white background.
Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
If you have to use flash, ensure there's no red-eye.
If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections, and your eyes can be clearly seen.
