According to the SBI Clerk transfer policy, SBI Clerks or Junior Associates are not eligible for transfer be it within the state or outside the state. Earlier, SBI Clerks were allowed to request for transfer after successfully completing 5 years of service at their current location of posting. SBI Clerks and Junior Associates who were recruited through a special recruitment drive for Kashmir Valley, Tura, and Ladakh are allowed to request a transfer only after successfully completing 8 years of service at their current base location. RBI Assistant 2023-24 final result was announced on March 6, 2024. The result was announced on the official website. However, the direct link to download the result is provided on this page. The roll numbers of qualified candidates was made available in PDF form. Candidates declared qualified as per RBI Assistant Mains result 2023-24 are called for the lamguage proficiency test (LPT). The letter of appointment is offered to candidates who qualify the LPT. Selected candidates are posted to the zone-wise offices of RBI.

RBI Assistant examination has 2 papers - Prelims and Mains . There are hundred questions in Prelims followed by two hundred questions in RBI Assistant Mains Examination.  The total duration of prelims examination in one hour (60 minutes) and that of Mains examination is two hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes). The examination is multiple choice questions (MCQ) based. Yes, candidates who are in their final semester or year of graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, if they are asked to come in for an interview, they must provide documentation that they meet the age, educational, and language proficiency requirements for RBI Assistants as well as proof that they have completed the graduation requirements.
