The cut-off list is prepared by keeping the following points into consideration, which are as follows: Number of vacancies Number of candidates who appeared in the exam The difficulty level of the exam Trends of last year cut-off Marking scheme of the exam Norms of Reservation
The final allotment cut off is the aggregate marks scored in Paper I, II and III of Phase II and Interview taken together for General Post. RBI Grade B final cut off marks for DEPR/DSIM is decided based on Phase II (Paper 2 and 3) and Interview. I hope this helps.

RBI Grade B cut off is calculated based on the following factors:
Exam difficulty
Total vacancies
Number of candidates appearing for the exam
Normalisation process
Candidates needs to secure both sectional and overall cut-offs of RBI Grade B or else they are not selected for the subsequent stages of the selection process. The sectional cut off is prescribed only for the prelims exam.

The final RBI Grade B cut off is prepared based on taking into consideration the aggregate marks in Paper-I, II, and III of Phase II and interview out of 375. Based on the final cut off marks, candidates are offered an appointment to the post.

RBI Grade B Mains cut off is calculated to select candidates for the interview. It is the aggregate cut off marks in the Paper 1, 2 and 3 taken together in the descriptive and objective tests and is calculated out of 300 marks. The cut off for the Mains exam is released after the completion of the recruitment process.

RBI Grade B prelims cut off is decided to select candidates for the Mains exam. The cut off marks for this stage are calculated out of 200 marks. The cut off marks are decided after normalisation since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. The cut off marks obtained in this stage are not counted for the final merit list.
