RBI Grade B 2023 exam dates were announced. The Phase 1 exam for RBI Grade B General post was conducted on July 9, 2023. The Phase 2 exam for the General post was conducted on July 30, 2023. The Phase 1 RBI Grade B exam for DEPR was conducted on July 16, 2023 and Phase 2 will be conducted on September 2, 2023. RBI Grade B application forms should be submitted online only. No offline applications are accepted by the examination authority. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the application form. The application fee for the RBI Grade B exam is INR 850 for General/OBC and INR 100 for SC/ST/PwBD. RBI Grade B exam dates are announced along with the notification by RBI. The prelims and Mains exams of RBI Grade B are conducted online. RBI Grade B exam is conducted for the post of Grade B (Direct Recruit-DR) (On Probation-OP) (General/DEPR/DSIM). The prelims exam comprises different sections such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 200. The Mains exam comprises three papers and the nature of the questions is both descriptive and descriptive-type tests. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 300. The interview carries 75 marks.

Yes, there is a sectional in RBI Grade B exam. Candidates need to secure both sectional and overall cutoff marks to qualify the exam. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for the subsequent rounds of selection.

RBI Grade B exam centres are different for prelims and Mains exams. The prelims exam is conducted in more than 150 cities and Mains exam is conducted in 20 cities. The interview is conducted at some of the exam centres prescribed for the Mains exam. The interview is conducted at the regional offices of RBI at times.
