RBSE 12th Pattern

Rajasthan Board prescribes the exam pattern prior to the exam. The board prescribes the exam pattern in the form of sample paper. Moreover, the board also notifies the students about the pattern on its website in case any change is made in the pattern. The total duration of each paper of the RBSE Inter exams is three hours and fifteen minutes. Students are given an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper. Students need to complete the exam within the given time duration of the exam. The students must be aware that no students are allowed to leave the exam center before the exam end time.

The RBSE Class 12 exams are conducted in Hindi and English. Questions are asked in both Hindi and English languages except for language papers. The total marks of the RBSE Class 12 exam are 600. RBSE Board 12 exams are held for a total of six subjects. Each paper of the exam consists of 100 marks. 80 marks are distributed for the theory paper. While 20 marks are reserved for practical/internal exams. On the other hand, in some papers, theory exams are held for a total of 70 marks while practical papers are held for a total of 30 marks. The Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that Board exams will be conducted twice a year from the session 2024. The main objective behind conducting the Board exams twice is to allow the students to retain the best score in the exam. MoE also informed that the exams will be based on the new curriculum which has been developed for the academic session 2023-24. However, as of now, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has not confirmed that the RBSE class 10 and 12 exams will also be conducted Twice a year. Hence, it can be expected that the rbe exam will be conductd once a year.
