A total of 48,000 vacancies were announced by the Rajasthan Government to recruit third grade teachers in Level 1 and Level 2 schools. The candidates who will qualify for the REET main level 1 exam will be appointed as grade 3 primary teacher whereas the candidates who will qualify for the REET Level 2 exam will be appointed as grade 3 upper primary teachers in the schools of Rajasthan.

a) For General category candidates: 60 per cent marks. B) For SC/ST/OBC/MBC/PH candidates: 55 per cent marks. It is important to note that candidates who score less than the minimum qualifying percentage in the REET exam will be considered as unsuccessful and will not be eligible for recruitment as teachers in Rajasthan.
