Yes, practicals are an essential part of the rehabilitation course curriculum. These courses focus heavily on hands-on training to help students develop clinical skills necessary for patient care.Practical sessions include learning therapeutic exercises, using assistive devices, conducting physical assessments, and applying various rehabilitation techniques. Students also undergo clinical internships or hospital postings to gain real-world experience in treating patients with physical, neurological, and psychological impairments.

Yes, for admission to most rehabilitation courses like Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Occupational Therapy, and related programs, candidates must have studied Science subjects in high school. The essential subjects typically include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), as these form the foundation for understanding human anatomy, physiology, and medical sciences. Some courses may also consider candidates with a PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) background, but Biology is usually a mandatory subject for most rehabilitation-related programs.

Most Rehabilitation courses in India, such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Occupational Therapy, and Rehabilitation Science, require candidates to be at least 17 years old at the time of admission. While there is typically no upper age limit for admission to undergraduate or postgraduate rehabilitation courses, some universities or institutions may have specific age criteria.

Hii, For admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRPC) at IGNOU, you need a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (with general psychology courses) or a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related fields. If you have a B.Sc. in Physics, you are not eligible, as the course requires a background in psychology. The programme is recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India, and it is offered in both regular and distance modes? Thanks.

Around 6 seats are offered currently for MOT in Hand Rehabilitation at College of Occupational Therapy. Every year, the actual student's intake into the hand rehabilitation Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) programme offered at the College of Occupational Therapy may differ owing to factors such as the number of seats available and the demand for the program. However, most colleges and their websites do not provide information of this nature as to the specific number of students who are admitted into their programs.
