Retail management is sub specialization of marketing. Normally, MBA colleges offer specializations like marketing, finance, HR and other areas. Retail management comes under marketing including selling of products, logistics and supply chain management, etc. There is no rule that marketing specialization should not come under retail sector. Therefore, be broad while opting for the specialization.

Retail is basically a special branch of Marketing only and hence retail students are even picked up by other companies too. The average package is above Rs 7 lakhs and you can get more detailed information about salary, companies etc in placement link on our website.

RM is doing pretty good, placements are same as any other specialization as you'll be allowed to attend all interviews along with MMS/PGDM core. Yes, it is worth the time and money if you're really serious about it because the faculty is quite good. If RM isn't your first option, you could consider core programs.

See, the opportunities which Jaipuria provide is just not restricted to just main PGDM course its actually same for everyone whether the student is from RM or FS or PGDM. So, the highest salary which you can fetch being interested in retail management is same as PGDM which stands at Rs 14 lakhs.
All the best.
