RM is no doubt a growing sector worldwide but the factors affecting it are as follows: 1) Local people. 2) there Environment 3) Boring physical store experiences 4) Shopping using smartphones isn't great 5) Reduced privacy in exchange for deals 6) Too much discounting hurting the bottom line 7) Technology 8) Economic Challenges 9) Wrong location. 10) Not focusing on the fundamentals.

Retail Management is a wider picture which includes supply chain management as one of its course. Whereas supply chain is collecting raw material to manufacturing to reaching the consumers - a product goes through a chain of events before it reaches the consumers.
