Dear Astha,
You have chosen a very good program. Now, whether to go with MBA or PGDM is very important to know. Astha, PGDM is a Diploma program, whereas, MBA is a degree program. Another difference is PGDM gives you more of a practical exposure and MBA is all about theory, even if I talk about IIM's they also provide the Diploma program because it is at par with the industry standards.

Secondly, your qualification for the managerial job in the concerned organization, and lastly your willingness to take a risk in switching jobs where in spite of lower rank, in the beginning, you expect better growth.
